Bacca di Montagna Cake

my mother is a diabetic , so I had to find a cake she could eat. This one was perfect. The whole family enjoyed it. They commented on how moist, fresh, and delicious it was. We live across country from my parents so I did not get to try any, but by their comments it was enjoyed by all. I am glad to say that there was none left after the party. Thank you for putting out such a good product

I've ordered this cake twice. Both times it was a huge hit with my guests. The cake is light and not overly sweet. The raspberries and blueberrie are the perfect topper. This cake is so good I don't know that I'll ever get around to trying any of the other creations.

I sent this cake to my sister and her husband for their anniversary and her birthday (same day). It arrived in perfect condition and they raved about it for days saying it was absolutely the best cake they had ever eaten. My sister is a gourmet cook, so this was a wonderful compliment! I ordered this decadent cake for my 50th birthday party. It arrived on time and packed with dry ice. It stayed cold until time to serve and it was beautiful and delicious! "Excellent. You really made my father's birthday special. He recently had a stroke and my mom has been working very hard to do all of his household tasks and hers - laundry, cooking, cleaning, washing dishes, shopping etc. She is 91 years old and is exhausted most of the time these days. So I was worried that she would not be able to make a cake for my dad's birthday. The cake arrived and got rave reviews. Everyone was impressed. Thank you for your fantastic website and the wonderful collection of cakes and things that you offer. I am in California and my family is in New Jersey . I shipped this cake to both my mom and dad and my auntie for their birthdays. I have to tell you, they said it's the best birthday cake they have ever had! I love to send people something different for their special day and this was it. The cake was beautiful as well as tasty. "My step son attends boarding school, and we wanted to send him a non-traditional birthday cake (he doesn't like most frosting or choclate). This cake was absolutely perfect!!! He adores berries and white cake and it completely fit the bill. We were a bit worried about whether there would be problems getting the cake delivered directly to his dorm on a Saturday, but the whole thing went off without a hitch - and he was absolutely thrilled!!!

"Hi Chef Steve,

At the risk of finding ourselves in an excess of superlatives, I submit the following review of the Bacca Di Mantagnia Cake. It is a sublime dessert! The white sponge cake is delightfully light, cumulus-like, in fact. The almond pastry cream was a superb silken contrast to the cake. The raspberries and, to my surprise, real wild mountain blueberries were a lovely topping - the blueberries maintained their shape and texture very well after being frozen and the raspberries released a light syrup to create a confectionary impression. Biscotti crumbs around the edge provided the wrap for the perfect package. The only thing that would have made this cake experience more enjoyable would be being able to say that I baked it myself!

Had to let you know that your Bacca Di Montagnia Cake was well received, in top-notch condition, and my friend (the recipient) was very impressed with the cake. He said, and I quote, ""It's so goooooood."" I suggested that he share that large cake with his coworkers, and he said that he and his girlfriend would manage to finish it off by themselves.
